And then as if the universe was mocking him he was knocked over while he was in thought by a spring loaded grass type. Knocked firmly on his rear end he just looked as the little goat was picked up by a familiar looking person who called him the mermaid, and he just chuckled.

"It is, and you are the mermaid hunter. Though you're not in the depths of the ocean this time, so I'll take it your deliveries have been going well?" It was just a simple question, but Amor was genuinely curious as to how is strange companion was doing. After all once you've sat at the bottom of the ocean with someone. You might as well try to befriend them a little. "I'm going to presume the little one there is yours?" Amor didn't seem all that bothered at having been knocked down, and instead he stood up, and dusted himself off.

"I was actually going spelunking once again in this cave." He motioned to the entrance in front of them. "Wanna tag along with me again? It should be relatively harmless....I think." He added on at the end because he honestly had no clue what awaited them once they set foot in there.

He looked at the young man he had met in the cave beneath the sea, and his little pokemon. It was a good candidate for his job of delivering, at least on the land. Especially in a wooded area, but perhaps when it evolved into a Gogoat it would be a bit more tame. Most pokemon became a bit more mature when they evolved. Well unless they were his Pikachu, whom he had spoiled rotten, but he couldn't help it. A little nostalgia hit him at those thoughts, and when he agreed to come with him, Amor flashed him a bright smile.

"Perfect, then it will be a much easier adventure with the two of us, especially since I know you have experience." he said patting the young man on the back. Despite them probably only being a few years apart, Amor felt like this boy in particular was like a little brother to him. He reminded him of another young man he had met once, with a Larvesta.

Amor wondered how Mason was doing on his travels. Shaking his head he headed into the cave, taking stock of the Pokeballs on his belt he made sure he had his proper dragons with him.

"I hope we find something interesting." He said perhaps a little excited. It was a trait few people knew of, that Amor enjoyed exploring the unknown. Abandoned crypts, castles, ruins, caves, all of it. If it was a place he had zero knowledge of, he wanted to learn more about it. His thirst for knowledge was insatiable, and couldn't be quelled.

At the young mans question he couldn't help, but let out a small chuckle.

"It's a new hobby at the very least." It also kept him incredibly distracted from everything else going on in his life. With the impending meteor, his other problems with the League, and everything seemingly teetering on just a knifes edge. "My Butler, Walter, says that I spend to much time at home, or cooped up in my workshop. So he suggested I get some fresh air occasionally, so I thought what better way than spelunking, or something akin to it." he just shrugged a little before a bright light appeared in front of him.

It was his Dragonite, Draco, and with all the other things that had been happening lately he wasn't going to let Amor just walk into an unknown area unguarded. So Draco lead the way into the cave, and it was simple, dormant no other entrances, or exits to see. Just a singular room, but he hoped something would be here.

"Is this where you are hiding Azelf...." He wondered as he had continued to search for the legend. Just like the cave he had found with THEO BECKETT the walls were smooth as if they had been sanded down.

"Well it is interesting at the very least." He said with an easy smile at Locke.

He just chuckled at the other's assessment of what he was doing. Trading one cramped place for another.

"You're not wrong, but my lab doesn't have interesting people in it like you." He walked over, and pat Locke on the back playfully. "Besides I'm still getting use to this whole...Meeting people thing." Whether he was joking or not Locke wouldn't know, but there was a mischievous flash in his eyes as he sized up the walls once more, and did something similar to Locke. Training his fingers along the walls to figure out if there was a secret switch or anything of the like here.

Maybe he just hadn't looked hard enough in that last cave, though he liked to believe he wasn't that incompetent only time would tell.

"What is it you like to do in your free time?" He asked the boy absently, Amor was trying to get better about asking others about himself. Growing up as privileged as he had skewed his social skills one particular way. He was use to people just telling him things, but he realized that wasn't how it actually worked.

At the boys question, Amor's brain stopped functioning for a solid five seconds, his nervous system blue screened. He had never thought that what he was doing could be misconstrued as flirting, and he simply just stood there a bit dumbfounded. There was no face palm, just a blank expression on his face as he contemplated on how to answer the question set out before him.

"My apologies....I don't mean to hurt your feelings, but erm, you're not my type." Amor said with a laugh, and shook his head letting the programming in his brain come back online. "Perhaps my people skills are worse than I thought if you thought I was flirting with you....I will have to tone down my personality it seems." Blinking a few times, Amor felt that was enough socializing with strangers today.

He would have to go back home, and rethink how he dealt with people from this moment forward.

"I believe we will have to call it there for today Mr. Jamison, I'm sure we will meet again soon." And then Amor simply vanished.

He was there, and then he wasn't, he felt awkward, and embarrassed about that entire situation, and he felt bad for telling the boy he wasn't flirting with him. What if that hurt his feelings? Amor needed to leave, not many people could catch him off guard like that, and he was running through his head on what he did. On top of that, he didn't even know how old Locke was! What if he was too young! What if there were rumors! Amor didn't need that scandal on top of everything else lately! So he noped out of the expedition for the day.
